The Practice

Eastwick Park Medical Practice is a small friendly NHS medical practice in the village of Bookham near Leatherhead in Surrey. Our GPs and nurses deliver a very high standard of medical care to our practice population of 7600 patients.

The practice was originally founded by Dr Alan Easton before the inception of the NHS (1948) and initially was located in his home on Lower Road and subsequently Church Road before moving to its present location in 1988. Eastwick Park Medical Practice was formed in 1998 following the amalgamation of The Surgery (Bookham) and Fetcham Village Surgery following the retirement of the late Dr Keith Anderson. The premises were extended and extensively refurbished in 1999 providing full modern facilities including a minor operations room.

We believe that it is possible to give our patients high quality of care whilst still retaining a personal and considerate service which we feel is so important.

In short, we aim to be the kind of practice where we would want our own families to go to.
Practice Area

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (eg. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice. The average pay for GPs working in Eastwick Park Medical Practice in the last financial year was £54,848 before tax and National Insurance. This is for seven part-time GPs who worked in the Practice for more than six months.

However, it should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other practice
